Check it out the Inverock site has finally been updated. The site has one link that works at this time and that is the Car Rally link (Cannonball a.k.a: Blaze Of Glory Award™)
If you are going to Inverock 07 and want to try and take out the Blaze of Glory Award then check out the site as it lists all tasks and what each task is worth. The Cannonball run is open from 11am on the 1/11/2007 – 5pm 04/11/2007.

As you’ve probably picked up in my previous post (Snap,Crackle and Pop!), I’m a fan of equations and maths that can be applied in the real world (Sorta like that show numb3rs but without the wanky acting) and I found one called the Moby Equation.
This formula determines whether a band or artist has cashing in and sold out their songs to plug shit via advertisements. It uses a number of factors like the sacredness of the song, the artistic reputation of the artist, the underground origins of the band, their wealth and how long they’ve been kicking it.
I think it works fairly well as indicated by the high scores received by bands which are well and truly past their glory days. The Clash, The Ramones, Led Zepplin, etc are the highest rated and McGuyver even gets a mention (I didn’t even know he had an album, but the rational behind his inclusion is fairly funny). There’s actually a list that you can add to, so it should settle the score once and for all if a band has truly sold. The Reel Big Fish song ‘Sell Out’ is included (Scored ~50) but I don’t think that song was used to plug any products so i’m not quite sure if it fits the criteria.
