well the weekend is almost here and i am stuffed
i’m not sure if its from the lack of a weekend i had last week moving or because i now have to get up half an hour earlier but i am buggered to no end
on top of that i’ve got about 3 posts (nuggets of gold i like to call them) i’ve been working on this week but cannot seem to finish them off to a standard i see fit (even though the standard of hornbag.net is pretty damn low)
writing this feels like a chore which is not a cool thing
anyway there’s footy on the tv beer in the fridge and two days to hopefully crank up the bbq and get my ‘grill on’ so here’s hoping that next week will be full of energy and excitement
oh and shout out to chris who is celebrating his birthday today

went to the evelyn on friday night with hels , pete and lorna to see a few bands and sink a few brews.
all bands put on a top show with personal highlight being irrelvant.
i haven’t seen these guys before or listened to their album from start to finish but fuck me man what an awesome band and what an awesome set!
these guys rocked hard and had energy a plenty. haven’t seen a band get stuck into it like they did for a long time. 3 thumbs up for this one, if you missed it well tuff titties you missed a killer show

Hello people in Web world I Stu am back and tonight I am going to hit you with my First CD review of the year. The Band is Irrelevant.
This is Irrelevant’s debut album it is called ASCENSION now let me tell you people this is one great CD it is very well done. They are hard to describe this band so I have a Link to an MP3 from the CD it is called “Breathing flame, blackened tounge” and let me tell you it is a killer song. So how does the album stack up to this MP3 you say? It is a lot like the single but it is well put together in that it starts nice and hard and this single is the Opener on the Album. The cd then goes along much like the first song then near to the end it gets a bit slower to calm you down and make you just sit and think to yourself “Dam this is good”.
So would I like this you say? Give the MP3 ago if you like it you will LOVE the album if not I would give it a go as I do not think the MP3 is the best song on the CD.
In other music related news as Gav told you all SWITCH is on this weekend. It is going to be one Beer, music and more beer night of craziness. So if you want to come along and have some fun please call me or Gav. Finally as Gav has told you the Road to Wrestlmania has started with the last PPV it will all end in late March with Wrestlmania 21 so if you like to eat a lot of junk food maybe drink some Beer or coke and love to yell at the TV then come to the Next PPV at my place latter this month.

Hello People it is stu back after a break.
Well I spent Aus day differently this year a little sad I was as I did not have a slab of beer like past Aus days but I did keep one tradition going and this was listening to JJJ Hot 100. It was as always fun to see what songs made the list so lets go over a few.
38 u2 – vertigo – Yes well this song was NOT played one single time on JJJ but still managed to make number 38 now that is one powerful band people.
97 gyroscope – safe forever – Well they got a song in and good work to the boys they totally rock should have got higher but oh well.
21 william shatner – common people – Oh yehh Mr. Shatner made the Hot 100 what a crazy fool.
36 jeff buckley – forget her – Dead man gets out from the grave and gets a song in the Top 100.
Ok well now the Top 10
1 franz ferdinand – take me out – No Suprise on this one.
2 missy higgins – scar – If it made number one Missy made a bet that she would run Naked dam pity only got number 2.
3 eskimo joe – from the sea – BORING.
4 the killers – somebody told me – Good catchy song.

6 missy higgins – ten days – 2 songs in the Top 10 not bad at all.

9 powderfinger – bless my soul – Ahh only one CD out this year and it was a greatest hits but they still make the Top 10.

Hello my fellow readers it Stu back posting up something for you to read.
Well let’s start from Tuesday on this night I went to see a Band they were called Rufio and well it was a very good solid show. I finished work at 10 on this night then got a ride to the corner hotel and then I ran in as the show started 50 mins later it was over and I went home it was a crazy night. It was not the show of the year but for a band that only has 2 LP’s out they did well but the mosh was in my Opinion one shitty mosh.
Next on Wed night I had some Optus free drinking sessions and this was good fun as free beer is always good. On Friday night it was the Optus Christmas party me and my life partner Mr. Hornbag went along and drank and drank and so on until we were Blotto. Now I was meant to shout out to Nikki from my work but I was so drunk I can not remember what I was to post? If someone remembers please help me out. Now a funny thing did happen latter on that night it was the end and I had lost everyone including Mr. Hornbag who went off home so I did as well but latter on the next day I found out how drunk Mr. Hornbag was he was so drunk that he fell asleep in the Cab. When the driver woke him and asked “Where are you going?” Mr. Hornbag turned to the back seat and went “Hey Stu where are we going” The funny thing was I was not in the cab.
Well Saturday was a bit of a party it was a good night we all had a bit of a dance I think there is some film of some fool dancing that Mr. Hornbag has but lets hope that never gets out. I tell you GTA is so great I just keep playing and I really love it if you have a PS2 get this game.
