hopefully they will arrive by the weekend which allows hels stu and i to wear our ‘geek bling’ in style and cruise the streets with reckless abandon
saw the nano on the weekend and oh my god that thing is small! on top of that it is so god damn sexy you will want one no matter what! i for one am an example of this

procastination is too easy to not do it.
i’ve had so many things to do recently but have always found too little time to do them
i have no idea if the above makes sense but that is how i feel at the moment
either way i have been up to a few things in the last week or so that i haven’t really touch on so lets break it down and see what happens…
– been listening to the new 3rd album from coheed and cambria interestingly titled ‘Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness’ and it’s a pretty shit hot disc from the geekiest of bands (it’s a long story so ask me about it sometime) and if you liked their other discs than you’ll lap this one up as if it was puppy chow. if you have yet to hear coheed and cambria go give it a shot, it may be an aquired taste but definately worth it in the long run… gotta give it a big 5 outa 5
– went and saw gyroscope on satday night with hels, stu and scotty. i’ve come to expect a top notch show from these boys and am happy to saw that i left i with a smile from ear to ear. the new stuff is sounding awesome and the old stuff well… it didn’t make one of the best of albums for 2004 for nothin. shout out to the hot lies too as they were pretty good also. gyro will be playing the corner later this year for the new album so get down there.
– looks like this friday is going to be a games night at the lodge with a few of the boys wanting to play poker (i have no comprehension of the game) and xbox and what not. should be a fun night with beer and hot dogs a la lodge. will take some photos if i remember
– fathers day was on sunday, shout out to all of the dads. had mine over for a bbq and went down a treat
– i’m currently maybe possibly if all goes well but no guarentees due to banks and leaving messages for old woggy dudes in the process of buying a newer (and smaller) car. i won’t give too many details at the moment but yep it’s a ‘chick bomb’ and i’ve had farts with more horsepower but it’s all part of my grand plan… or is it?
– watched season 1 and up to date on Entourage and i’m kickin myself i didn’t get into it earlier. great show which is very well written and acted if you can look past the fast cars and women. worth the watch me thinks
– last but not least for now anyway, work is going really well. crusin though and making money is what i like doing best so i can’t complain. word on the street is that there is going to be some ‘big news’ this week but so far nothin. i’ll let ya know if anything ever comes of this rumor
anyway that’s about it for now, have a great week and i’m still fuckin around on this site trying to have it up to scratch but as i mentioned at the start i’m just not finding the time….!

well i’m back from holidays and hard back at it and boy howdy has this week gone fast!
work is pretty good, was hard to settle back into after a week off but i’ve got some good appointments and shit coming up so it keeps life interesting.
if we can just rewind to last weekend for a moment… i was supposed to go to the arthouse to see away from now and blueline but i got drunk at the lodge by mistake. i had my first ever shots of tequila and well i’m proud to announce that i will never ever do that again.
paul, i know you have the photos of that night and i want copies as there was some funny ass shit going down if i can remember rightly… or at all.
very messy night that one, but a good one!
anyway the weekend is almost here and i really don’t have a clue as to what is going to happen (i like it when it goes down like that) but i really need to get my shit together and buy a new car (oh yeah who wants to buy a fully sic vl commodore?) so if i get any time i might try and do something about that.

well this is probably the last night in thornbury for hels and i before we take full time residence in ‘the lodge’ although at the moment we have a couch, bed, fridge, tv and that’s about it!
either way ‘the lodge’ is taking shape rather well and everything seems to be fitting where it was supposed to go so all good there.
get to pick up my bbq tomorrow which is going to be like reuniting a mother with it’s long lost child but probably won’t fire that bad boy up until sometime sunday…
quiet one tonight as moving tomorrow and huge night is planned with lorna’s house warming that night. should be pretty damn good but i don’t think there is going to be enough time this weekend.
got my pay slip today and hotdawg i miscalculated my pay and got a nice surprise when there was more than i thought… best bit is it’s going to be like this from now on!

Well the weekend isn’t over just yet but it feels like it’s been about four days since Friday.
We got the keys to ‘The Lodge’ on Friday so we’ve been moving a fair bit of stuff across and come Satday we’re moving all of the BIG stuff like the fridge , bed , washer , dryer etc… so if all goes well this time next week I’ll be sipping a Sherry in front of the open fire as I write this.
On another note the end of financial year has been and gone (thank god) so hopefully work will slow down a little allowing me to catch up on all the stuff I just didn’t have time to do last week.
I’ve also renegotiated my salary package and have come out on top getting a pretty big increase over last years salary. Also I am on a commision on top of this so if I do alright in the sales department (which I have been) there’s more to gain there.
Really looking forward to the next 12 or so months as I can see some pretty cool things happening along with a lot of good times.

Well Phase II is complete after a little trip to the Apple store to pick up a couple of Airport Extreme cards for the iMac and PowerBook.
This wireless bizzo is not cheap but man is it awesome! I didn’t know how annoying wires are until i don’t have to deal with them! Even on my iMac which I probably won’t move around much if ever but having one less cable is a good thing.
This means that Phase III is coming and that involves ‘The Lodge’ an Airport Express , XBOX and Speakers…
Just got delivery of that little bad boy above. This is phase one in what will probably be many phases in my quest for superdooper fast wireless internet!
Obviously this will be at ‘The Lodge’ where I am only just around the corner from the Box Hill exchange where iiNet have their own DSLAMs allowing me to ‘hopefully’ get 12Mbps ADSL!
Link this with an Airport Express for music and everything should be sooooo sweet…

Well I heard back from the real estate agent last night and we have been approved for the place in Box Hill.
If anyone has any objections I will start calling it ‘The Lodge’ as I think it kinda suits. And if anyone has access to a moose head or any ‘lodge like’ furnishings let me know!
Anyway we get the keys on the 1st of July and if all goes well we’ll be all moved in and cooking BBQ’s by the weekend of the 16 -17th of July.
Better get back to work…
