HundredPennies Footy Tipping

Posted by: Gavin In: Clickity Click Click| Events

It’s that time of the year again! The 2009 AFL Season kicks off on the 26th of March and with it so does the HundredPennies footy tipping competition.

There will be a prize of some description and there’s a very good chance that it will be of the beer variety but that’s still to be decided. Until then go sign up by clicking on the following link:

Good luck and good tipping!

Add this one to your toolbar or bookmarks pronto. YouTorrent.com is a pretty spiffy torrent search engine that searches 14 popular trackers such as Mininova, The Priate Bay, isoHunt and SuprNova in real time and has everything that you would need to download all of those Linux distros… yeah.

Puzzle Me This

Posted by: Gavin In: Clickity Click Click| Video Games

Word is that Puzzle Quest is coming to XBOX Live Arcade this Wednesday and if you haven’t played Puzzle Quest on either the DS, PSP or PC now is your chance! I’ve been a huge fan of this game on the DS for a long time now and has helped me pass many hours of my spare time. It does come with a hefty (for XBOX Live Arcade) price of 1200 points however seeing that this game is heaps more on the DS and PSP it’s a good buy and highly recommend it to anyone who likes puzzle games with a little bit of adventure!

After what has seemed like a long wait ecto3 Alpha has been made public for the world to play with and test.
I’ve been a huge fan of the previous version of ecto and is my mac blogging tool of choice.
Check it out (remember that it’s still in Alpha) and let me know what you think.

I love it when networks or shows take the initiative and blur the line between fiction and reality. Entourage has done this several times before and have just launched the official site for Medellin.

He’s Still Got It

Bruce Campbell is back in another Old Spice commercial (if you haven’t seen the first one click here) this time singing Duran Duran’s ’Hungry Like The Wolf’ to a bevy of young ladies in a fashion that only Bruce could get away with…

This is some clever advertising by Old Spice here because after I watched this clip for the 7th time this morning I decided that I needed to have a bath in Old Spice now. However after the 8th viewing I realized that the fine ladies are not climbing all over Bruce because he is wearing Old Spice. Hell no the ladies all want a piece of Bruce because he’s Bruce Campbell!

About bloody time…

Posted by: Gavin In: Clickity Click Click| Rants

It’s been a long time coming but from May 31st the official ‘Telemarketers can go get fucked’ register kicks in and you can register your home and mobile phone now.

https://www.donotcall.gov.au/

I don’t know about you but only calls I get on my home phone is from fucking telemarketers so I can’t wait for some peace and silence.

The only thing I’m afraid of is that if they can’t get us on the phone what will they do next…?

The band I think I have seen more times in one year (possible even ever) than any other and a personal favourite Blueline Medic have a new album 42:19 out April 14.

The bands MySpace (I still can’t work out why it’s so popular… welcome to the web in 1994) has a little taste in the form of Soft Toy which sounds fuckin brilliant and makes the wait seem even longer.

The boys will also be touring for the new album so make sure you get your ass down to one of their gigs.

Listen to Soft Toy here… or bluelinemedic.com

Sweet Home Alabama

Those crazy kids at Top Gear are at it again and the above clip is from the most recent episode which is filmed in the good old US of A and is one of the funniest episodes I’ve seen in a long time.

Man Love Rules OK!

Update: James May has made a post on the Top Gear website about their trip to America. Clickity Click Click

It’s about time something like this was made available. Especially after I bent over and Microsoft had their way with me when I bought the Hitman theme.
It doesn’t look like it covers everything at the moment but I’m sure it’ll grow and become a valuable resource.
