Texas Hold ‘em will be free for 48 hours people from Wednesday, August 23 at 6pm EST until 6pm Friday. So please download this game and we can all meet up and play poker it will be fun for all. Talking about games what game should I get next? I played saints row and it was a fun rip off of GTA but not sure if it will be worth getting. Anybody got any idea what game I should get next?

microsoft have released a little beta program called ‘live writer’ that allows you to post to blogs without having to actually go to the blog…
i’m writing this post from live writer and am pretty impressed with it to be honest.
there are different types of editing modes ie plain text, web layout and html which should cater to most bloggers editing needs from the beginner to the pro.
inserting links and pictures is a piss of piss and compared to the wordpress (hundredpennies is a wordpress blog) editor live writer is a much easier and simpler way to do things.
it was also way too easy to install and setup with a quick couple of questions i was up and running immediately.
i’ve been doing this for a while now with another application called ecto which cost me a couple of bucks but is pretty cool and worth the green however seeing that live writer is free (for now anyway) i’d suggest it to anyone who wants to blog without the fuss.

how has everyone’s week been? anything exciting happen or just the same old work, sleep work thing…
i was thinking before about this ‘almost’ terror attack in england. the threat was to detonate liquid explosives on planes so as a security measure passengers can not take liquids, gel, cream etc onto their flight which i think is fair enough. better safe than sorry.
what i don’t understand is that security is checking all luggage and making sure that all liquids are disposed of into the bin.
now i am not a scientist but lets say someone did have some liquid explosives, would it be a good idea to put it in the bin with other liquids creating a nice soup bomb? what if there was a chemical reaction that sets off an explosion? i’ve been watching the news and due to the delays there are a fuckload of people in the airport and an explosion would be the last thing you would want.
it just makes me think if this is being handled correctly and safely. what do you think?
but people seem to be forgetting the more dangerous threat on planes which is snakes! fuck liquid on a plane i’d be more worried about the snakes!
oh and how’s this for a bargin, today during my lunch break i popped down to kmart and picked up hitman:blood money for $78.00! sweet! i’ve been meaning to get this game for a while now and this should keep me busy while i wait for dead rising.
so not much seems to be planned for the weekend at the moment. there’s always footy to watch and beer to drink so that’ll keep me relatively busy and i think stu may be getting back this weekend so that’ll be good too. either way stuff always happens and i never have enough time (mostly due to too much sleeping, drinking and playing xbox) so i can’t complain although i still want to have a bbq but the weather seems to think otherwise…

Hello again,
Last weekend was one great weekend did some really fun stuff with the locals from work. We went bowling and I got 149 Hell yehh but god damm it took so long to play. When you go in it looks all good and normal but about every 4 shots it fucks up and some dude has to get into the machine and reset the pins. It also does not help when the power just goes off for 10 mins. Latter on that night we went on a rickshaw ride up a mountin to this kick ass bar of sorts and had a few brews (Canon 10,000 8%) and some very nice food. The night was going very well and we were going to hit up a nightclub so the local who we were with was trying to work out a good price for our rickshaw driver this turned into an argument and next thing we all had to go down to the cop shop as this “head rickshaw dude” had put our friend in a headlock as we did not agree to the ripoff price. We had to spend about 1 hour so the cops could write up a report it was funny stuff as they were hitting the shit out of the ricki driver. We finally got out but we were in the middle of nothing and it was pissing down with monsoon rain. We finally managed to get back home but it was one crazy night on the town.
Missed 2 days of work unfortunatly due to some gastro bug that was not very nice but I am all good now and thankfully it is Saturday. The dees lost to Carlton again what the hell is wrong with us? Anyway back in a week talk to you all soon.

Hey how’s it all going? It’s 4:08pm Friday afternoon, I’m tired and have a sore foot. I always find the last few hours of a Friday to just drag on like a bitch and the fact that I’m not doing any work doesn’t help either…
Work is going really well. It gets busy when it wants to but now that I’ve settled into the role it’s cruising rather well with no real dramas which means I can’t really complain so I won’t.
I will complain about my Media Center though, as it’s being a pain in the ass.
I wanted a nice quiet case to replace the large jet engine sounding case that I’ve currently got so I went and bought an Antec OvertureII which is pretty sweet. Nice and slim so it now lives in the TV cabinet, heaps quieter and looks alright too. As I already had a guilty conscious and already coughing up hard earned green for the case I decided to purchase a legit copy of XP Media Center 2005. Oh and shout out to the people over at www.digitalyes.com.au who shipped my order in under 24 hours. Cheers
So I’ve put everything together and test OK. Install XP Media Center and that’s alright too. Updated to the new Nvidia video drivers and they are awesome! No more fucking around with a billion settings to have your video card output correctly to your TV. Just select the display as a TV and 1080i or 720p (whatever suits best) as the resolution and bingo bango you’re done! I really liked that.
What I am having a fuckload of trouble with is my tuner card and getting a decent signal and picture for TV. It’s driving me (and I’m sure Hels but she’s awesome and puts up with my constant ‘tweaking’ and swearing at the TV) nuts as I know that it works seeing that I have ha it working perfectly before.
Hopefully tonight I will have it all sorted as it seems to be getting there ever so slowly but I have a deadline to meet which is 6:30pm Saturday as Funniest Home Videos is on…
Anyway so it’s now 4:21pm and the weekend is getter ever so closer but my foot still hurts and I need a nap.
I’m not sure what is planned for the weekend yet, but I’d be happy with just kickin back having a few brews.
If the weather permits I wouldn’t mind dusting of the BBQ and burning some meat. If I do I’ll let ya know.
