well the week was rather standard with nothing to special happening so lets have a look at the three day forcast…
tonight i’m off to suede on smith street to catch up with chris, will be good seeing that i haven’t really caught up with him since he left
satday i’ll be doing a little bit of shopping in the day and then i’m off to the telstra dome as a guest of telstra to see the bulldogs take on the lions in a corporate box. hands down, no matter what happens this will be a great night due to two of my favourite things - free beer and footy!
sunday i’m back at telstra dome to see richmond try and beat their 85 point thumping of carlton from earlier this year… should win easy making it a very fun game to watch
i’m sure there is heaps of other stuff thrown in between for good measure but that’s the bulk of it.

Watched this ’straight to DVD’ movie last night and fuck me it’s funny.
First up there are a few ‘fucks’ dropped in every now and then (by Stewie too!) and pretty much they push every limit they can in their sick yet awesome humour…
I won’t do too much of a review as you have to watch it yourself but picture an episode of the family guy running for 90 minutes and just trying to offend as many people as possible.

Ahhh nothing quite like a Monday knowing that in a week you’ll be sleeping in recovering from a hangover and don’t have a care in the world as you’re on holidays!
I’ve got a week off from the 1st of August to do whatever the fuck I want and I can’t wait! Got a couple of things to do like dig a vegie patch and vist my Nonna and Nanna but a part from that sweet F.A!
The weekend was rather tame lounging around at The Lodge drinking, playing XBOX (Brian Lara’s Internation Cricket is pretty fun), sitting by the fire etc…
Went bowling Satday night which was good ol fashion fun. Hadn’t been bowling for a long long time and it kinda showed but everyone was pretty good and had a great time. Played a couple of games and then back to The Lodge for more drinking etc…

stumbled on this kickass widget today, and this is not your every day run of the mill widget.
this widget actually does something!
about 99% of widgets i’ve seen fall into the ‘dashboard candy’ category where they look good maybe take some information from somewhere and place it on the dashboard.
this widget actually lets you control azureus not just from your computer but any fucking mac anywhere! another great feature is that you can control azureus on a pc from you mac too!
that is fucking sweet
if ya running osx tiger and azureus go get the widget of all widgets and enjoy
been playing Sid Meier’s Pirates! a hell of a lot over the last few days and so has pete and fu
and seeing that they are both here at the moment i thought i’d get them in on a little joint review…
ok…arghaaaa! Pete here. I started playing at 1pm on saturday next thing I knew it was 1:30am…..shiver me timbers!!! Its really cool. I’ve been thinking about sawing off my leg and replacing it with a 2×4! The only thing is you gotta play the missions because it can get repeditive. The game play is simple, which works because you don’t spend hours trying to sort out the game before you have fun. I rate this game highly…….if you have a lot of time to kill because it will take it without you even knowing.

got my greasy hands on the upcoming 5th album by the dandy warhols titled ‘ODDITORIUM OR WARLORDS OF MARS’ and well after their last effort (welcome to the monkeyhouse) i was a little scared as i didn’t really enjoy it all that much while it still being a good album it just wasn’t in true dandy nature
this new disc on the other hand comes across like monkeyhouse never existed picking up where 13 tales left off.
please go out and buy this album when it is made available as i will be doing the same.
standout tracks include ‘all the money or the simple life’ and ’smoke it’ which i have heard is going to be the first single
for fucks sake, its been less than a year since i had a rant about the price of petrol hitting a record 112 cents (clickity) and now we’re looking at hitting 120 cents by the end of this week.
it was quoted in the paper that ‘people are getting used to paying $1+ a litre’ yeah whoopdy doo, the reason people are getting ‘used’ to paying that much is because we gotta.
shit, with the high petrol price comes inflation in everything that involes any kind of motor transport and it’s only going to get worse.
i’m tempted to go on but to stay civil i’ll leave it there for now…
