Just a quick one for you all… Xbox 2 is to be unveiled on MTV on May 12th in the states. I’m sure you’ll be able to watch this on channel BT. Will be interesting to see what the next next gen systems will be like!

Things are too complicated. Xbox 2????? I just bought an Xbox 1. Also what….Gavin…..are feeds? Is it because I’m not a geek, that I’m not down with the geek “lingo” or more aproperatly “drone” bring back bring back programs like wolfenstien 3d and netscape 2.1 or mosaic 3.0 or even old schooler then than dail up bulliten boards!@!!!! What the fuck people!
yeah i’m a little surprised by microsoft showing off the ‘guns’ so early in the console wars, i too have only just purchased an xbox and love it to bits and there is still a fair bit of leg in the old girl and the same goes for the PS2.
as history shows being the first to release the new console is not the best idea… we’ve had the Sega Saturn , and Dreamcast both especialy the Dreamcast fantastic consoles they just blew their load too early and no one was expecting it so they got hit in the eye. Sony and Nintendo are holding off just a little and both have the experience under their belts and also market share which means a big thing.
all will be answered in about 2 – 3 years once the prices of the consoles drop to an affordable price and we’ll see who has the maket. my money is on Sony and the reason for that is Blu-Ray but that’s another story for another post…
oh and pete nothing is better than finding out that lenny or karl (i can’t remember!) from the simpsons is gay by reading it on a simpsons bulletin board on 9600bps dial up on a mac! the memories………
