In Between Dreams

I wonder where the last week and a half went? No seriously I have no idea where it went!
First off hornbag.net is now at it’s new home somewhere in the USA I think… the lovely people at Demon Host have hooked me up and at the moment pretty impressed with the goods!
Well as usual I come up with ideas and thoughts for this blog when I’m not at a computer so I have to try and remember it. To test my memory even more so I usually throw in half a slab before I can get to a computer and let the creative juices flowing which normally leaves me in drought when it comes to post time.
This should all change shortly because WordPress can do posts via e-mail and I have just recently got a BlackBerry!
Still gotta set it up but will become very handy as I can e-mail on the go now and hornbag.net may become a running journal of my thoughts and ideas but most probably more random shit.
Well I’m just finishing off a long weekend due to Easter, Baby Jesus and Cadburys. Was pretty good with a fair bit of drinking lots of Xbox and just general chillin and stuff. Not too impressed with the nothing open on a Friday or Sunday though. Good to see McDonalds sticking it to the church though. See you in hell Ronald.
Been playing the new TimeSplitters Future Perfect at the moment and my god what an awesome multiplayer game! Had a fair bash with Stu and Fu on Thursday night and was awesome! Beeing playing a fair bit online too via Xlink but as usual in the world of online games got reemed so bad it hurt.
Waiting for WrestleMania XXI to come out on Xbox, should be in the next day or so if I’m lucky. This will kick off the WWE week of dustruction I will be calling it. Got WWE on Xbox , WrestleMania PPV and then Smakdown at Rod Laver! If someone told me a year ago I would be getting excited about wrestling I would have laughed my muthafuckin ass off. If I start talking about Dungoens and Dragons or Warhammer kill me. Seriously I don’t want to become what I hate.
Well I’ve got a few things to do so will leave it there but I promise to make a bit more effort to post more round here.
Oh also saw Bubba HoTep this morning. Not bad but not awesome either. Was expecting more zombie killing but hey anything with Bruce Campbell gets my two thumbs up!

update : word on the street is that WrestleMania XXI has been delayed to the 18th or 19th of April. Bastards

woke up this mornin i was king of the world

been pretty quiet round here… i’ve been working on the ‘community’ site the last few nights and it is almost ready to be rolled out for all you punks to climb over and do what you wish with it. i might let you take it for a test run in the next few days to see how it holds up. should be good though
hornbag.net will most probably become my private blog which it originally started out as which is more than fine as i kinda missed my little place on the web where i could talk shit about nothing and no one ever read it!
well i’ve been pretty busy over the last week or so, mainly drinking and seeing as many people as possible.
didn’t make it to the motorshow in the end. not that fussed really but would’ve been good to check it out. oh well next time maybe!
i’ve gotta run but i’ll put up some more posts in the next few nights to make up for the lack of activity.

Give Me Fuel Give Me Fire…

Give me that of which i desire… motormania has hit Melbourne harder than Ike hit Tina (that’s right I went there) and well it’s hard not to get caught up in the petrol induced frenzy that has anything to do with a motor. shit we’ve had F1 cars on the Sydney Harbour Bridge , in the CBD of Melbourne and if ya lucky you might see one at Bell St Maccas.
I for one am a huge motorsport nut and having the Grand Prix in Melbourne is just an awesome event that happens every year. I used to work in South Melbourne and got as giddy as a school girl when I heard the high pitch scream of mechanical engineering at it’s best.
Hopefully it will be an awesome weekend for all involved but I want to give a shout out to our boy Mark Webber wearing the blue and white for BMW this season. Good luck buddy and here’s to a safe and successful 2005 season.
My prediction for this weekend involves a McLaren , Renault , and Ferrari assult on the podium. Would like to see Webber up there but not just yet. Watch this space later on in the year… only good things will happen.
Talking about good things to happen the Melbourne International Motorshow is on at the moment and I’ll be there for sure and will take heaps of photos for you punks to drool over too. If anyone wants to come along on a field trip let me know and we’ll hook one up.
I’ll be drooling over ‘my’ new Mini Cooper S Works , along with all of the exotic cars that are on display for every man to take to his dreams when he goes to sleep. Will be an ace time.
I will be calling this weekend ‘Weekend of Rubber’ as it leads into ‘Week of Geek’ come Monday…
