Welcome to Monday people. After a huge alcohol induced weekend the start of the working week is not taking to me kindly…
Friday night was after work drinks at Suede on Smith St. Was a top night catching up with a couple of people I haven’t seen in years along with the rest of the crew.
Quiet one Satday before heading back down to Brunswick St for LadyKiller’s 21st birthday celebrations at The Old Colonial. Another fantastic night again catching up with some more people I haven’t seen in ages. The usual dumb stuffing around and talking shit went down. Classic.
Well the rest of the week is standard with Team Booka taking it to the oldies tonight in trivia. Hope to do well and stick it up Booka Style.
Nothing else I think on the rardar until the weekend. Ebo’s house warming is on Saturday night and I am thinking of having a BBQ in the park and a few pre-warming brews along with a little bit of soccer or Nerf… Come on you chumps get outta the house and come and have some fun in the sun (hopefully!). Location undecided but am thinking somewhere in the Northcote / Carlton area as this is where some of us are headed later that night.
And before you start having a winge about how far it may be from your place let me just say ‘Build a Bridge and Get Over It!’ Shit if I can come to you than I’m sure you can travel the few extra minutes. Make the effort people and be active!
Anyway more info on this later on so stay tuned. Have a great week and go Booka!

Alright, hornbag.net is going to be getting a bigger brother which will be more community based. Everyone will be able to have a blog and post news etc. There will also be galleries, forums and event calendars.
Only problem is I don’t have a name…!
I need suggestions on a name, then we’ll vote on the best. Put your thinking caps on and give me your best!
Matt Damon is the shit so take a whiff, oh yeah,
Matt Damon
Peace out!

Hello people in Web world I Stu am back and tonight I am going to hit you with my First CD review of the year. The Band is Irrelevant.
Straight up off the bat I want to give a HUGE shout out to Hels who has been awesome in putting up with my stupid shit and for making Fu and I tacos while we played Xbox the other night. Baby you’re the greatest!
It’s been a little while since my last proper post and there has been heaps of post material, it’s just that I haven’t gotten around to putting fingers to keyboard so strap yourself in and here we go…
I watched the WWE Royal Rumble with Fu and Stu last Wednesday and being my first wrestling event I was a little unsure of what to expect. At the start I was a little confused as to what was going on and which oiled up dude was who but by the end I was yelling at the TV and loving every minute of it. I think my geek stock has just gone up a notch.
Coming up is Wrestle Mania 21 which is going to be an awesome pay per view and really looking forward to it. In the lead up to that though the Wrestle Mania 21 game hits the Xbox on the 3rd of March so there will be plenty of Title Matches taking place in the comfort of our own homes. Also to add to the wrestling excitement the WWE is coming to Australia with Smakdown burning up Melbourne and Raw ripping it up in Sydney… the two events are a day apart and on a weekend. Are we crazy enough to do both…? You’ll have to wait and see…!
In the Xbox department there are some sweet games being released in the next few weeks including the new Timesplitters Future Perfect, Fight Night Round 2, as mentioned Wrestle Mania 21 and looking further into the future it has been announced that there is going to be a Family Guy game! As crazy and possibly crap this may be I’m willing to give it a try. If it’s half as good as the show I’ll be happy and pissing myself with laughter.
Talking Family Guy the long awaited 4 Season hits the screens in the US on the 1st of May after it was cancelled by Fox but then they sold a shitload of DVD’s so decided to milk this cash cow in true Fox manner. It’s good to see that the demands of the people will be met which took me by surprise seeing how old Family Guy is in TV years. Having fresh new episodes is going to be a nice early birthday present for Stu, Pete and I. Obviously I’ll be getting my sweaty little hands on them as soon as they grace the internet so if you want a brother to hook you up let me know!
In line with the May 1st premier of Family Guy, is the premier of American Dad. Another master piece from the brain of Seth MacFarlane. Actually the pilot went to air a day or so ago and I have it at the moment. It’s pretty good with some classic lines mainly targeting Americans and terrorism in general. Well worth a watch and will dead set get funnier as it finds it’s feet.
Looking to this weekend, make sure you get your punkass down to Switch on Satday night to see the Away From Now boys with Anotherway, Realist Few and Bullet the Blue Sky. The music will be brutal, the beers cheap and a top night is guaranteed on this one.
Anyway until then try and enjoy the rest of your week and don’t forget that Valentines Day is Monday or expect to sleep on the couch.
Until then, Peace.
