Hello People it is stu back after a break.
Well I spent Aus day differently this year a little sad I was as I did not have a slab of beer like past Aus days but I did keep one tradition going and this was listening to JJJ Hot 100. It was as always fun to see what songs made the list so lets go over a few.
I’m in a spot of bother… I awoke last night in a cold sweat and couldn’t go back to sleep… I sit in front of the mirror taking a good hard look at myself because I feel unAustralian.
What is making me feel like this…?
I want Lleyton Hewitt to drop out of the Australian Open.
Am I such a bad person for wanting this big headed egomaniac to drop a few sets and bow out?
Yesterday I felt like the biggest traitor sitting at home on Australia Day sipping on a Coopers yelling at the TV because Llayton kept winning.
I cannot stand the boy nuff said.
Bring back the golden boys of Aussie Tennis, Pat Rafter, Pat Cash, David Boon… ooops wrong sport
That’s where it was at my friends. Good old Aussie Boys doing it for Australia. There was a connection and there will always be a connection. As long as you wear Bonds underpants or recycle old christmas cards or something you will always have that connection to the green and golden years of tennis. Where the players had respect for each other and sleeves on their shirt, and painted an awesome picture of what Australia was all about.
I don’t care who you are but blue shoes don’t look good on anyone.
Sorry for the winge about Llayton and the Essential 2005 but enough is enough. Something had to be said.
Alright, where to begin… how about at Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley and the Comets. This is where Triple M’s Essential 2005 begun. According to their website the Triple M Essential 2005 is The 2005 Best Songs ever written and recorded since the beginning of time.
Since there are 2005 songs for me to bitch over let me make this short and sweet in classic dot points…
- Who Let The Dogs Out was at 1941 (I’m sure there were 65 songs more worthy)
- There was no sign of The Tin Lids or Shannon Noll
- Stairway To Heaven is obviously not as good as Train and Maroon 5
- Smells Like Teen Spirit is not as essential as Jet
What the fuck is going on???? There must have been a misunderstanding at Triple M’s end because this list is full of shit! I think this also proves that mass marketing works and if you force feed people something they will soon enough learn to love it. Shit me man, Jet is in the top 5 when they weren’t even heard of since last year! How does this work? People have forgotten how to think for themselves and like whatever the fuck they want to like. I could go on about this all night and day but I won’t because it is pretty obvious how i feel.
Please discuss further in the comments and remind me that people still have a brain…
To all you mooching unemployed hippie bums, elderly, single mums and red heads i want my god damned hard earned money back!
i worked 13 days in a fortnight which included 3 public holidays and what does that earn me, a 3rd of my pay check gone in taxes, what the fuck is up with that. Now i know i have to pay taxes that is a gimme of course but come on within reason please. It is not fair that i have to work while all these freeloaders are at home mooching of me to buy their hits and warhammer (red heads im looking at you). Now i understand that some people are unable to work or need a little assistance to get by, fair enough but those of you who are undeserving, i hate you. While questioning the amount of tax taken from my paycheck my boss told me to think of the single mums and so i did, but the only thoughts that i had were bad ones, i have no intention to pay for a drunken doped up mistake, if im gonna pay money to a single mum that kid better damn well be proven to be mine. If i have to pay all this money i want to see it put to good use, fix up the damn roads you need a four wheel drive to cross some of the train crossings around town and when i see a booze bus on the side of the road why not have cops actually breathtesting people instead of piss farting around somewhere else .
So as of now for consolation i expect free windscreen washes and if you bums see me on public transport don’t talk to me, is that too much to ask for.

Alright I’ll brag about how fucking awesome my Xbox is later… but for now let me talk about a little game called Burnout 3.
Oh my fucking god, if you have not played this game than you have not played games period. It is the full seven shades of awesome and by golly it deserves it too.
So far this game has consumed WAY too much of my time.
This game has amazing graphics and not just good to look at but a fucking fast framerate! I finished a race last night and I had tears in my eyes because I was afraid to blink incase I hit a pillar or an oncoming car. It is that fast I shit you not.
Second, all of the times I’ve been stuck in traffic, cut off by white vans, or driven past a ‘blaze of glory’ this game lets me stretch my imagination beyond my wildest dreams. You are given any situation and car you can think of and then given the green flag to cause as much destruction as possible! And they rewarded you for it too!
This game will blur the lines between pixel and reality (I’m looking at you Fu!). There are fuckloads of levels and a shitload more cars, and then every other type of race/crash imaginable!
The game itself is not new (it was one of the must have titles for 2004) but man it will age gracefully and always put a smile on yourface for many many many years to come just because of the sheer fun this game brings to the party.
My real girlfriend plays the ‘girlfriend killer’ (xbox) just for this game! It’s that good.
I cannot explain how awesome this game unless you play it yourself. Do it.
Crash like no-one is watching and laugh your muthafuckin ass off.

God Bless
Welcome to 2005 people! Hope everyone has had a safe and happy christmas and new year. By now people are coming back from holidays and going back to work. It’s a pretty depressing time… But Australia Day is only around the corner and on a Wednesday to boot so that should break up the week for ya.
Well I’ve done a little cleaning around hornbag.net and swept away the cobwebs for another awesome year of nothing much really!
One of the new features of hornbag.net is the ‘register’ link to the bottom right of this site where you can register and then log in and submit your own post for hornbag.net , if we like it we’ll post it. It’s as simple as that!
Well New Years was spent down at Port Franklin with the usual crew and a great time was had by all I think. Lots of drinking took place as any New Years should. A day was spent at Wilson Prom also which is one of the best beaches I have ever seen. Amazing. Fu and I each had one of the BIGGEST steaks ever seen by the human eye while we were down there and photos were taken so I’ll put them up sometime in the near future once I’ve fixed some shit. Huge shout out to Bocka for hookin a brother up with the said fuck off steaks!
After New Years Hels and I took off in the other direction up to the Murray to camp it up with Chris , Lena , Simon and Emily. The weather was great and the company was even better! Had an absolute ball with even more drinking and swimming taking place.
In between there and now is a little blurry but went golfing today with the hornbag boys Stu and Fu. We didn’t play consistantly great but the quality of all three of us was top notch after a pretty big break from the clubs.
Just got home from celebrating my Mum’s birthday at a Curry House in Tecoma. Happy Birthday Mum! Food there was really really good. A little on the mild side but still good curry and I’m a man who loves his curry.
Oh yeah one last thing going to the Collingwood Town Hall for a swap meet tomorrow and will hopefully come back with a modded Xbox and HD… here’s hoping.
Anyway enough for now but hope to hear and see from you all in the new year.
