Looks like their going to make a movie on The Da Vinci Code, which is a fantastic book penned by Dan Brown. I am currently reading it and loving every page of it. I feel like a chump because I’ve jumped on the band wagon seeing that this book has been the number one seller in the US for umm… like 83 weeks! I didn’t start reading this book because everyone else is but more for the content of the book which covers the Knights Templar and the ‘secret’ (well it’s not really a secret) of Jesus that pulls the floorboards out from underneath Christianity. I don’t need to explain the method to my madness so I wont. Anyway a movie is in the making and it will guarantee big bucks at the box office. Tom Hanks is reported to play the character of Langdon which I can see him doing, might not be my first choice but he should do it justice. Ron Howard is to direct also. Look forward to seeing it when it comes out, just as long as they don’t Hollywood it up with pointless shit because the content of the book is not ‘made for movie’ material. More just tell it like it is.

We’re on the home stretch to the end of 2004 and in the next few weeks I’m going to ask people what their ‘Best Of 04′ was. So get those brain cells working again and try and think back (I know it’s going to be real hard!) over the last year. Also if you have some categories for the ‘Best Of 04′ let me know and shit we might even have a little award cerimonie and shit. I might see if I can get Anna Nicole-Smith to present an award…
i would like to say the only reason i read it was because everyone else was reading it. that was lucky but, as the book is awesome. sorry hornbag, but you should know the movie will be shit as its gonna be ‘hollywood-ed’ up to make it easier to understand for our less intellegent friends state-side. also, the fact that the book is very anti christian and (in particular) anti-catholic the storyline will probably be changed. i don’t know about tom hanks…what about christian bale?
oh tre! you’ve hit the nail on the head! christian bale would be perfect for the role, i was thinking paulie shore but i think christian might be just a little and i stress ‘little’ bit more suited for the role than the weasel.
