Well I am back this time I have a link for you all to have a look at. In other news I only have half a day left for this working week ohhh yehhh. Got big Optus meeting/Piss up at crown tomorrow avo then I am a free man to sleep in and get ready for the great Lagwagon show on Wednesday night its going to be one killer show. Reports from the other states have been that they have been rocking hard and playing some good old songs so it should rock and I will be posting my review of the show before we go down to Rock at inverock.

I’m sure a lot of you people noticed on the way home from work that the price of petrol is around the $1.12 mark , SHIT! Man I’m not sure about you but I hate being treated like a chump.
There are obviously a few reasons why fuel is getting more expensive , some true some false.
Here’s where I add my theory, besides the government taxing us through the ass and also blaming the war and shit for the high price I also reckon that the fuel is going up because of Coles and Safeway. Here’s how, buy $30 of stuff from Coles get 4c off at Shell, buy stuff at Safeway same kinda deal. They jack the prices up so we have to shop and get our 4c off making us feel like we have ‘saved’ something. BP and Mobil etc are just along for the ride. Shit if Shell can charge heaps we might as well because people need fuel and will pay whatever for it.
Man it makes me mad. Call me an idiot and I’m sure there are many holes in my thoughts but that’s exactly what they are, thoughts.

Well it’s a said day in tv land… channel 10′s new aussie drama ‘Cooks’ has been rescheduled to a new timeslot of 10:30pm thursdays, you can read the story here but you heard it first here our very own tre paul picked it a mile away! Nice work tre.
I’m a little upset that they didn’t even give it a chance but seeing that the ads kept mentioning ‘characters you’ll learn to love’ it had no chance from the word go.
They should have gone with my idea of a country boy trying to make it in the big city, armed with a big black shiny car, it follows the highs and the lows as it shows him getting pushed around, knocked to the ground, he gets to his feet and he says, ‘What about me? It isn’t fair…..’ you get the picture. It has logies written all over it!
On another note Inverock is next thursday and i haven’t been this excited since i heard that Alf was getting his own talk show (seriously he has and i’ve got the video).
Word on the street is fu , stu , pete and myself will be headin down on thursday night after work etc…
Let us know when you’re coming down if you are so we can ask you to drive by a bottle shop and pick up some much needed supplies

It’s a great film with a kickass soundtrack i give it three thumbs up! I’ve also got a copy of the dvd from the states so if anyone wants it just let me know.

Hey everyone, its fu here with another Christian service announcement.
Now a suggestion has been made to me, that aswell as criticising dumb ads i should also praise good ones, now i have taken this idea into consideration and while it is a good idea one stupid ad has caught my eye which i feel that i need to discuss.
There is a new coco pops ad out now, where these stupid kids are walking around the kitchen table, the reason they are doing this is because in their coco pops boxes they received free pedometers (pedometers count how many steps or how much distance you have walked or run)
Now that is not what is wrong i mean coco pops are an awesome tasty breakfast cereal not requiring any gimmick to sell plus if you can eat chocolate for breakfast why the hell not. The problem is in the kids, they are the ugliest dopiest looking red heads i have seen i a long time, poor bastards.
Its bad enough that the people at coco pops use stupid red heads in their commercial, but on top of that they make the kids walk around as if they’re good, let me tell you they are not. I know it, I’m certain gav knows it, and for sure those kids know it. So now the good people at coco pops are filling these kids with a false confidence that they are cool when theyll only be teased and cut down at school.
Plus we all know that exess consumption of chocolate and other junk foods are bad for the skin so next they will we dealing with acne. So not only will these kids be teased for having red hair but also pizza faces.
Now i think a more appropriate way to advertise the pedometers with these loser kids is to maybe i don’t know have them being chased by a mob of bullies. These bullies could be saying stuff like red head red head got no friends or red knob or any other harsh comments that tease kids with red hair. Then the red head kids get away by some miracle like their mum saves them as we know she would have to, the kids can check their pedometers and see how far the bullies had chased them that day. They could even say lucky we had coco pops for breakfast other wise would not have had the lasting energy to run away from that mob. Hehe wouldnt that be great. Coco pops could even make a line of loser freindly give aways like free warhammer figures or tamagotchis the possibilities are endless.
Now some may think this is a little petty or harsh, well to them i say “i’d rather be dead then red!”

Hello people its Stu.
Well it’s that time of the year again yes Aria time it’s always good to watch. At the Aria’s you normally get some band saying something that they should not basing the Aus Idols and going off and this is always fun. This year looks to be the year for Jet as they have picked up a few awards. I don’t really like Jet but after the awards I am starting to like them as a band more as they seem to be very real and into the AUS music industry and this is good. They come across as a Band that might be huge but they still understand where they came from. Anyway I still don’t like the music they make.
As always you have the Pop Stars winning some of the biggest selling type awards like good old crapy manufactured has no talent Guy from Idol. A bit of a surprise is that none of the bands Bagged out the US bands this time normally the aus bands will rip into the US ones I guess the people who run this show have realized this and only had 2 US presenters this time and that’s good because we have a lot of talent in Aus and don’t need the US bands to get good ratings.
Well it was a good show not much else to say about it so let’s take a look at the week ahead people. This week is Pay day week so as per normal it is pay day drinks on Friday then not much else is on and that’s good because I need to save money for Inverock as I will be one of the Few who will be down for the entire time. Latter on this week I will be putting up the Golf plan for Inverock a highlight of this will be the Skins game so make sure you are down for this. Oh also DO NOT forget to get Tix to see Lagwagon play at the Corner this will be a great show.

What a great weekend!
It’s almost over but I’ve had some fun. Friday was at Stu’s for a Bacardi Breezer Bender with Paul. Was pretty good but man the headache the next morning was a shocker! Shit that hurt. So with that Stu, Fu and myself went and played golf. Was pretty damn good we all had an alright round except for when the wheels fell off for me but I recovered alright I guess. I got a little Backyard Blitz on the course after my ball landed under a dead tree. There was this old guy in the group in front of us who was swearing like a trooper! Shit he must have been having a worse day than me! Spent Satday and Sunday with Hels which was brilliant we just came back from a pub in Brunswick which was pretty cool will definitely be going back there soon. Just about to put the feet up and watch the ARIA’s and Stu will be doing a follow up later on for all the goss and criticism just as long as he stay’s away from Shanon Noll. He’s a genius and he has a big black shiny car… nuff said. He can go to town on the John Butler Trio though cause their all bums. Every last one of em.
Right well Inverock is drawing ever closer and we’ve worked out the T-shirts are about $25 and the final design is coming shortly. More news and details for Inverock in the next few days.

Hello my friends well the time is 1:00Am time for a music review.
Well tonight I went to see a band and they were yes called Midtown and they did rock very hard. The crowd at the show were not really into it the mosh area only half full or less. Midtown were in great form they played hard and gave there all rocking out and jumping all over. They really played up the new CD with only 3 old songs in the set that was a bit of a let down but it was always going to happen when they are out to Aus for the first time playing support to MXPX and only have there new CD out in Aus. When midtown played one of the old songs the crowd went crazy and it was good time for all. After Midtown had gone Scotty told me that he really wanted to get there new CD so this show how well they played and how they rocked. Only let down was the mixer sucked and the sound was not great could have been a lot better.
For MXPX we just sat in the Top Bar in Hi-Fi and it was good nothing against MXPX but I have seen them 5 times and Scotty is not into them so we just chilled out drinking beers and having a good time. We did leave the show early as we had to go to the Bottle O and get the last Train.
So what would I give this show out of 5? I would say 3 and 1/2 If only it was Midtown headlining the show then it could have rated much higher. The Final word is if you like Midtown and have the new CD you would have loved the show. If you did not have the new CD then this show will make you want it.
Well I’m out of beer and must go and get some more so I will be back and Posting about the good old Aria’s latter tomorrow so talk to you all then.
Alright peeps we got 15 days til we kick off Inverock 04 and a few things to take care of.
One of those things was to have t-shirts and with 2 weeks to go it maybe possible if we’re lucky. I’ve got a place doing a quote for us know and it’s for the printing of one design in one color (to keep costs down) and well I’ve had a mess around and come up with a few designs… you can check them out in the gallery.
Let me know what you think by leaving a comment with your favourite design (let’s number them 1 to 6 from left to right) or if you have any ideas or suggestions.
Also let me know if you want a t-shirt also because I think there is a minimum you need to order from the printing company. More details as I get them…

Well It is well and truly rocktober now but I do have some sad news for all of you Beer lovers. Octoberfest has been canceled. Now let me give you some background on this Octoberfest is normally at the showground’s near the end of Rocktober in the last 2-3 years they have Banned the big stein glasses but this year its not on. What the hell is it with the MAN stopping us people having fun? If I want to drink Shitloads of beer and get really drunk then that’s what i am going to do. Anyway it’s a sad time but i am sure we will all get over this when the great Inverock kicks off with a Bang on Wed 27 with the official pre party featuring LAGWAGON ohhh yehh. Tix are 32.00 and are still on sale get yours now.
In other news next Saturday morning me and Mr. Hornbag will be playing some golf so if you want in please leave me a comment in this post. Don’t forget this sat is the big MXPX and Midtown show at the HIFI bar so get your tix to this show it should be good and lookout for my review of the show. Let’s just see if it can beat the last show I went to see Yellocrap. Thank you for the beer tips you have all been leaving me I will be doing some thinking/testing of the beers on the weekend so that will be fun.
