On the telly the other day i saw another quality ad for Jay Jays jeans ad this is the second one i have seen of recent, the first one at the dress up party with the guy and hes got a girl on his back and hes like im a turtle and this is michelle. Anyways to the ad in question the newest Jay Jays ad you see toadie from neighbours going to a cafe with these two chicks and then this guy comes up and asks can he bring his girlfriend over shes a big fan. Hehe is slightly humerous the first time you see it but it got me thinking cos there is one thing in the ad that is just not right.
What the fuck are 2 hot chicks doing hanging out with the toadster! Fuck yeah hes on neighbours and all but what the hell is going on, i mean come on.
Now i mean no disrespect to him hes a hero to the underdog and and the not so super hot guys ouththere, and yes he did nail two hot ass blondes on neighbours but HELLO neighbours is scripted for fucks sake if Jay Jays are trying to relate to the public its not happening here fuckers, personally i think that Toadie must be expanding his options to writing commercials like perhaps ads that he is planning on starring in with 2 hot chicks fuck.

I hope everyone has had a great weekend and are all revved up and good to go at their places of employment this week (i’m looking at you Tre Paul!)…
Weekend wrap up -
Friday I was seen drinking and hanging out at one of Camberwells hot spots. Was a pretty good night very laid back.
Satday arvo was seen at Ebo’s place for the GF and was a pretty great way to spend an afternoon great turnout also with heaps of the gang there. Wish the same could be said about the GF pre match entertainment. WHAT THE FUCK?! I must be living in my own little dream world because I didn’t think , Kath and Kim , choreographed dancing AFL footballers and one hideous blue g-string were what football is all about! Shit. Good to see Alex is still alive though. Lots of beer, lots of food, and lots of shenanigans (pumpkin anyone?), after the footy was done most of us headed back to Tre Pauls to continue drinking. Was a bit of fun. Problem with GF day is that you start drinking way to early in the day and you’re absolutely of ya nut by 7:30pm!
Oh well all good training for Inverock me thinks.
A little bit of house keeping, photos of the weekend will be up very soon , registration for Inverock 2004 will be up soon , and any suggestions or comments on hornbag.net is great as I’m still working on a few little things but if you guys want to see something on this site let me know!

Jimmy Eat World - Futures CD review
Hello to all you readers how is the surf today? Well I’m back as I said I would be to review the great new Jimmy CD and let me tell you I really love this CD. From the opener Futures the title song of the CD you know this is going to be one great CD. The second song keeps with the fast nice action start. Then the 3rd titled “work” stats off with some great Guitar and some nice slow vocals you can hear it build up to the Hook then it rocks into the song a great emo work. Song 4 “Kill” is a more slow song to calm you down a bit but still has plenty of Hook.
I just wanna say a heartfelt farewll and thanks for the good times to my trusty jeans that died on the weekend. You served me well old man. after five glorious years and four overseas trips you finally called it a day and parted in the knee in a non repairable manner.

Hi everyone well this is a great day I have been able to get the new Jimmy eat world CD not due out until 28/10/2004 yes and little old Stu has it. Who hooked this up for me well you might know of him his name is Scotty he has some great music contacts. Now on to the CD upon first listen it is a very great cd and if you love Jimmy you are going to love this CD. I’m giving it a few listens but I will be back to give a full review of this CD tomorrow on this very great site the one and only place to get an Aus review on the Jimmy CD that’s not out even in the USA.

On a separate note this weekend is the AFL Grand Final if you’ve been living under a rock.
We will be drinking at Ebo’s place for the match and then word on the street is that we’re headed back to Paul’s for a TC and then more drinking.
Sunday is going to consist of Bacon and Eggs plus Golf in the arvo if anyone is up for it. Leave a comment if you’re in and we’ll sort out details later!

Well the weekend is most definitely here and it’s going to be AWESOME! Not quite sure what is going to happen but so far I’m at Stu’s drinkin beer and watching a little bit of Chris Rock and the such.
Hi all today’s post will be my review of the Yellowcard show. Well lets just say show of the year yes it sure was the most Shitty show of the year. First off the band just did not seem to be into the show the crowd were happy and liking it but the band looked to be flat. After 50 min the band went off stage now you may think this is ok you know the band will be back to play the encore because all bands do. Iv never been to a show and they have not played one in my 4 years of going to shows.
