And hello hello hello everyone! I’m just a little excited because it’s the start of the weekend I’ve got an ice cold Coopers in my paw and tonight I’m going to see BLUELINE MEDIC + THE CRITICS + THE HOT LIES The Arthouse, City 9pm!!! Ohh Yeah… Bow Bow Chicka chicka…
So that is on the cards tonight, headin down with me lady Hels and meetin up with Chrisp. Should be an absolute blinder of night and really hangin out for it!
Satday got two free tickets to the Richmond vs Essendon match at the G which I’ll probably go to and cry my little black and yellow heart out. If we win then it’s of to celebrate at The Arthouse again to see USER FRIENDLY + BAGSTER + MR COFFEE + KICK MY JUNK The Arthouse, City. 8:30pm. And if we loose I’ll probably end up there anyway for a pick me up.
Sunday is going to be a quiet one with a nice big fry up for brecky if possible… see how I go.
I’m currently working on a new site design for this bitch but a little more effort is required than first expected so I promise nuttin!

Alright recap of the last few days…
Friday was a bit of fun with a few friends and a few brews then back to the castle for a little Singstar, which is always dangerous. Especially if you are sing Ace of Spades and trying to dance like Rick Astley!
Satday was a calm day with a quick trip to Knifepoint for some Nando’s and shopping. Bought Prince of Persia , XIII , and Ghoast Recon for PS2 for a grand total of $79.95! OOOHHHHH YEAH! So that’s the arvo pretty much taken care of for Christian and myself! Come 5:30pm and first beer was had while waitin gfor the lovely Hels to show up and then of to the Evelyn to meet Stu , Scott and Evan.
Alright quick review now -
Kiss Chasey were text book emo minus the ‘hook’ I heard Stu say. Pretty good for all the emo kiddies who showed up.
Sommerset (Kiwi band I think) were up next and they went pretty hard and delivered the goods. I was well impressed. Reaction from crowd was pretty good so they must have been doing something right!
OK now step up the local band of the month Gyroscope from WA. I’d heard a few of their songs on JJJ and liked what I little I had heard. As a live band these guys kicked some serious ass! Great sound and some killer tracks which deserved to be listened to because it may just bring a tear to your eye…!
Awesome awesome awesome show and fun was had by all. The kiddies were happy and we were pretty drunk so everyones a winner!
Late Sunday went to Ikea and Freedom for a little bit of a window shop. Saw some sweet stuff for when I move out again. Just need that thing called cash….

At last the weekend is here and before I go out and paint the town beige I want to see if a little script I use in ecto (what I use to post to hornbag.net on my mac) will post whatever I’m listening to as I write this…!
Bring on the weekend people! I’m done with this week and looking forward to my two days of rest and recreation and then starting all over again on Monday.

Friday night sees us hittin Brunswick Street for a few brews for Hels birthday. Starting at the Labour in Vain and there’s a pretty good chance it could end there as well!
Satday mornin will probably see me sleepin in and then getting a kabab for afternoon tea.
Satday night probably going to see GYROSCOPE + SOMMERSET + KISS CHASEY at The Evelyn, Fitzroy 9pm. Should be a kickass show and will give a review Monday.
Sunday is my day of rest and probably see the folks or just sit at home and wait for the fun to begin come Monday…!
